Robert (Bob) is proud of the fact he’s a Naples, FL native.
“Wherever I’ve gone in life, when I got back to Naples, I felt I was at home. I’ve spent most of my life in the Chattanooga area, lived in New Orleans and New York, but there’s no place like Naples for me.”
Bob has been back in Naples since 2012, after convincing his wife to move. All he had to do was take her to the Naples Pier at sunset and she fell in love. Like Bob says, “It seems as though your troubles melt along with the sun as it disappears into the Gulf.”
Bob is not only appreciative of the Naples beaches, but also the restaurants. He says eating at Mereday’s on Fifth Avenue was one of the best dining experiences of his life.
Before venturing into the world of real estate, Bob studied at Dalton State College in Dalton, Georgia, where he received a degree in economics. For a better part of his life he has worked in sales, and his main goal has always been to achieve a win-win situation for all parties involved. “I have always had a strong interest in real estate.”
After attending the Ed Klopfer School of Real Estate, it was Bob’s time to pick a brokerage. Bob chose to make his debut as a Realtor at Amerivest Realty “because of the clear quality and reputation, the advanced use of technology, the ongoing training, and the flexibility in the programs.”
When asked what his favorite aspect of the business is Bob brings up the feeling of purchasing his first home. His goal is to bring that feeling to others.
“I want to help them find the perfect home for their future.”
In Bob’s free time he likes to spend time with his family, including his wife Melissa, who is a software trainer for Caterease and teaches piano at Naples Piano Studio, and his son Bobby, who is 24 years old and a talented musician who has performed all over the U.S. Two of Bob’s favorite hobbies are golf and bowling. “I’ve mastered neither and enjoy both.”
